About Me
I am a proud West Virginia girl, born and raised in Marion County, and it is an honor to be bringing Mountain Grace Women’s Wellness Center home to the community that has given so much to me throughout my life and career.
My roots here run deep. My grandfather came to America from Italy to work in the coal mines of Monongah, West Virginia. His story is part of my story, and it reminds me of the strength, sacrifice, hard work, and resilience that have shaped the people of this region for generations.
I am also a mother of six, including three children I adopted from Africa. Through my time in Africa, I have had the privilege of volunteering to provide medical care to women and families who often have limited access to healthcare for conditions that can otherwise go neglected.
Those experiences changed the way I view medicine.
In Africa, I experienced something incredibly meaningful—the opportunity to slow down, listen, build relationships, and truly care for the person sitting in front of me without the same insurance barriers and time restraints that can sometimes make healthcare feel rushed and impersonal.
When I returned home, I began asking myself: Why can't we bring that kind of care here?
That question became the beginning of Mountain Grace Women’s Wellness Center.
My vision is to create a place where women in our community can receive personalized, compassionate healthcare that looks at the whole woman—not just a diagnosis, a lab result, or a symptom.
Women deserve time to be heard. They deserve someone who will listen to their concerns, understand the changes happening in their bodies, and work alongside them to create a plan that fits their individual needs and lives.
Mountain Grace Women’s Wellness Center is my way of giving back to the community that has supported me throughout my life and career.
This is home.
These are my people.
And caring for the women of this community is a privilege I do not take lightly.
It is my hope that Mountain Grace becomes a place where women feel known, heard, respected, and cared for—one woman at a time.
